First 54m Romeo Marine superyacht Al Hanem 2 launched
Romeo Marine has announced the launch of Hull 1 in the Romeo 55 series, the 54.43-metre Al Hanem 2. She is currently undergoing sea trials at the Bin Rashid Marina in Dubai, with delivery scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.
“The launch of the Romeo 55 marks not only a milestone for our shipyard but also a defining moment for Dubai’s role in the global superyacht industry,” commented CEO of Romeo Marine Dubai Nader Nashed. “Our vision is to position Romeo Marine Dubai as a recognised hub for world-class yacht construction, combining heritage craftsmanship with modern innovation.”
With a focus on advanced engineering and bespoke luxury, Al Hanem 2 features interiors by Pulina Exclusive Interiors, developed through detailed site visits and close collaboration. The Romeo 55 can accommodate up to 12 guests across six staterooms, including an owner’s suite with double-volume height and a glass ceiling.Other highlights include expansive glass walls that frame ocean views and fill the interior spaces with natural light, a sculptural spiral staircase with a lift connecting all decks and a sundeck oasis complete with pool, bar and BBQ.
Constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she is powered by twin MTU engines, giving her a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 16 knots.
In addition, the shipyard has confirmed that the keel-laying of the Romeo 60 superyacht has begun. The vessel features naval architecture by her builder, interiors by Pulina Exclusive Interiors, and exteriors by Gresham Yacht Design. The Romeo 60 will also accommodate 12 guests across six staterooms.
“This 60-metre superyacht continues the shipyard’s commitment to delivering world-class vessels,” said the shipyard in a press release. “She will also be a manifesto for one of the core values of Romeo Marine: 360-degree sustainability.”
